Problem with pairing Bluetooth-OBD2 in UO135N4G
#21
July 2019 firmware update (2019.6.21) fixed bluetooth-OBD issue with cheap blue chinese adapter. It fixed few stability problems also, so it's highly recommended!

Hello from me .I have the SKU: EU-JY-UO138P4 unit and I have the same problem with the obd device.

I have to make it manual and every time I have to connect the device.
How can it be solved?

Maybe you can try to update the head unit system.
Could you please send us your screenshot of "about device" on your head unit?

You can try to update with this file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18-7djp2x4RuTOS0XPJts4cTJq859pqc_/view

Following are the notes for the update:
1) You need to unzip the updated files on the Windows system. and then copy all the unzipped files (not the folder ) to the USB, which is formatted as FAT32.
and then insert it into the USB port which on the back of the head unit, it will be updated automatically.

2) Please do not unzip the files on the USB.

3) You better use the 32GB or less than 32GB USB.

Team,
Can you confirm that the issue is still that JOYING units (JY-VO132N4) can not support the OBDeleven ( not purchased from you ) even with the latest Firmware.
As earlier poster informed this is next gen. ODB that can read & change much more than the standard ODB (ELM) units for VAG concerns ( Seat, Audi, WV) cars.
Support for this model (and other ODB's) would be a great support from your side.

Thank you.

Actually, our head unit only supports with ELM327 OBD2 model.
But your vw head unit originally has shown the car info, there is no necessity for using the OBD2.

Team, You have not clearly learned yet what OBDElven can do. Calling it only OBD2 would be small insult Smile

Please take a look here and educate the team little bit

YES!! YES!! YES!! Fix the firmware to unlock the entire Android Bluetooth stack instead of how it appears to be now with Joying disabling all but a few devices.
Make our head units work like regular tablet android devices. ?????
