Hello,

I just got my new Head Unit.
I have JY-UO135P4 with 8.0.0 from 2018-7-27 and want to upgrade to the latest 2018-10-8 FW.

How do I upgrade the Head Unit FW? Do I need to copy OR unzip the zip file to USB stick?
Will it wipe all the data, installed apps & settings on the headunit?

Never mind - I upgraded after unzipping to USB drive. And after upgrade some settings where removed and all installed apps where also removed.

Anyone?
No one has ever updated their JOYING headunit?

Once you have the correct firmware, you have to unzip it in the root folder of a USB.
Be aware that the USB should be formatted FAT32, and that at least in some radio heads one USB plug only has data transfer capability
