Hello forum,

i have the 10.25 single din and like to control the volume and others.
With can bus adapter for my Benz (worked on an other radio) it is not working.

There are key1 and key2 cables from joying unit, i connected to the can adapter.

What about the plugs: "can in", "can out" and "key"? How have they to be connected?

Are there some other adjustments in the software, to get it to work?
I tried to learn in settings, but no recognizing. Service area, no. Changed the type of car in service area, no result..

The can bus adapter provides a resistance. It is about 10kohm with no pressed steering button.
When pressing, it gives a short other resistance impulse.
Short impulse: to adjust the volume for example, you have to press the steering butten once ore often, but not hold. If you hold, only one impulse comes out.
May be, these impulses are to short for the joying to recognize?

Please help, because there are no other buttons, exept volume in the display...

Regards,
Olli
Upps, did it in a wrong way!
The resistance is measured betwenn Key1 or 2 and ground, not between Key1 and Key2.
One cable of the Can adapter has to be connected to ground and only one Key cable connect to the can adapter.
That is, what i see with searching in other forums. Seems to be standard.
2nd key cable in case, you have 2 sides of swc working with resistors. Or you may configure other buttons you build in the car, switched with different resistors.

I will test it next days and will report!
Steering wheel buttons are working now!
But...
After connect it in the right way like explained before, wanted to "learn" the buttons.
My can decoder only makes a short signal, you cannot learn.
I saw devices, you have to press on the display, what you want to learn, after that the button on the steering wheel.
My single din 4gb+64gb intel based from Joying needs to do it in an other way:
Long press the steering wheel button, while pressing, learn on display! Tried it with resistors.
That did not work for me, because only single impulse.
Went to the service menue PW:3368 and choosed the car, not mine was there, but one with similar can bus.
And it works!! Great, i'm happy!
Connected "CAN in" with "CAN out" on the unit.

The best of all, the volume controls spdif as well. That is, what i hoped!
Joying support told me: no, volume control over spdif is not working...
