Problem Google Play Store and Google Play Services - JJM - 12-11-2023
Hi.
I have the Joying JY-UM124N2 HU with Android 6.0.1
Now I have problems with the Google Play Store and Google Play Services
Everytime I get an error that Google Play Services has stopped and I cannot update any app anymore.
Checked the versions of both and it appears these are old versions.
I have installed :
Google Play Store version : 33.0.17-19 [O] [PR] 485917264
Google Play Services version : 23.08.15 (040700-512743456)
In the Play Store when I go to settings > about > Play Store version and tab Play Store update, in the popup I see that there is an update available that will be downloaded and installed but nothing happens ? After weeks still the same old version, and yes, I have a perfect WIFI in the car.
Also no idea how to update the Google Play Services.
I have set back the Google Play services to the old original version ( in the 3 dots ) and now I have version 9.8.79 (470-137224771) but
is does not update itself to the latest version for my HU.
How do I update it or can I do that manually ?
When I go to app management and go to the Google Play Services app I don't see an update button.
My question is if I search for the Google Play Services apk and Google Play Store apk on the internet ( apkmirror etc ) I have no idea which version I need to download.
Hope someone can help because I already send an email to Joying but the answer from them is to find an old apk and try but not which version.
