Hi,
I have successfully installed a Joying JY-HQ144N4G in my 2008 Honda Civic and I am really loving the head unit.
However, the ONE MAJOR problem is the number of clicks needed to change volume.
Because there are no physical buttons, you need to click a lot of buttons to change volume, especially when you have Android Auto.
This requires to not look at driving but look at screen and is very dangerous.
I therefore bought the Universal Steering Wheel Control from Joying to easily change the volume.
Unfortunately, I have NOT been able to get the remote to light up or connect to the head unit.
I've followed the diagram / instructions attached but no luck.
- Red to ACC
- White to Key (or Key 2)
- Black to GND
Has anyone been able to get the Universal Steering Wheel remote working???
