I also now have Youtube opening every time the headunit wakes up from sleep (used to be Spotify).

What happened was this:

1) I installed another app that had a Youtube guide. The other app (Tasker) opened Youtube from within the app
2) Youtube showed the guide video  (I did NOT make any tasker profile or task to open any app!)
3) Now, every time I turn on ignition, the head unit wakes from sleep and Youtube starts automatically (even if I close it and kill the process before sleep)

The problem is that this behaviour is VERY persistent. Even if I uninstall app, do factory reset and reinstall Joying software, the program will start automatically.
There are some settings that obviously are persistent and some that do not stick at all (e.g. Spotify - Waze integration).

Is there a way to do a COMPLETE reinstall so nothing is left behind?
Or can you fix the issue of these apps opening automatically?
Or can I manually edit the list of apps opening on startup?

May I have a check with your screenshot of "about device" on your head unit? because we can not confirm your current head unit system.

I am having same issue with 17.06 June firmware

Please do not install another app which had the yotube link after you factory reset.
All the third party app please do not try to install and then check whether have such problems.
Also, you need to clear the cache on your storage for your Spotify or other third party apps.

You need to factory reset the head unit firstly and then update the head unit system with this file:https://drive.google.com/open?id=18mcocVcmqRL453Tu5oG8SizGERD1TWpq

And then please do not install the Spotify app again after a factory reset and the update.
Please check whether the problem will occur again.

Ok, obviously Spotfiy won't autostart when it is uninstalled. But even if I do factory reset, update firmware and install only spotify, it will start the autostart.

If your suggestion is that do not install Spotify, I suggest you change your marketing to include: "Does not work with Netflix or Spotify".

Or you could fix the software.

We just let you test whether the Spotify or Youtube will not autostart if you do not install the Spotify or Youtube.
We have not said that you must stop installing these apps. my friend.

Hi,

May I know whether you have updated the head unit system with the file after a factory reset?
If your head unit is HOS02N4GS, your updated file will be different. may I know your head unit comes with the old or new UI?
