Hi,
At the moment I have a "Intel Sofia JY-UMS03N2". The screen is mounted into a modified Range Rover P38 Mk2 dash, and the head unit is under the passenger seat with 100cm cable between the head unit & screen.

Is the screen cable on the newer "JY-UQS03N4G" compatible and same connector ?

I would like to change the head unit for a newer faster model, but keep the existing screen if possible.

Sorry, the 1m cable is not work for your older head unit. and you also can not change the head with the old screen. it is not compatible.
