Install JY-UQD11N8G-H on 2014 F150

I have installed the JY-UQD11N8G-H in my 2014 F150 along with a Metra 99-5846B dash kit and I have not been able to get the steering wheel controls to work. The Metra dash kit requires I choose a radio (there are 23 different ones), then I am to go into the radio interface and map the buttons. I have not been able to get this to work. On some it does nothing on other radio "models" it will run the volume all the way up unless i uncheck on your interface screen. I connected the key 1 wire to the wire on the Metra interface and the Key 2 wire on the appropriate wire on the Metra interface. But the wires coming from the top of the radio with the plugs marked CAN , CAN2, IR, and KEY I did not do anything with these.

Any ideas?
