Which UI do I have?

I can't believe how difficult it is to get a straight forward answer to this question. I contacted your chat last night and someone responded by asking me to send them pictures of my "about device" and they sent me a link to a file to download the firmware (which said "new UI"). I tried updating it and it gave me an error. I asked them which UI do I have and they disappeared. No "is there anything else I can help you with?" No "does that answer your question?" They just disappeared. Joying sent me a transcript of the conversation so you can see how poor the customer service is by the agent just disappearing at the end.

Should I just download an older version of the firmware and see if that works? Is there a way to change from the older UI to the new UI and vice versa?
