Unknown Joying Dongle

Hello,   I have what looks like some kind of Joying USB dongle, but not sure exactly what it is for ??  It was probably bought with a head unit several years ago.

The device has a usb2 plug on one end, and USB socket on the device.   It's white, but only has the Joying label but no product codes.
